Funeral services for Mrs. Jacqueline Sams of Bossier City will be held at Hill Crest Funeral Home Chapel, Friday, September 12, 2008, at 3:00 p.m. with interment in Hill Crest Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at Hill Crest Funeral Home Thursday, September 11, 2008, from 6 - 8 p.m.

Mrs.Sams was born April 13, 1939 in Bouligny (Meuse), France. During her husband's military career, she was employed by AAFES. Her philosphy was to be kind, live well, laugh often, and love much and she never met a stranger.

Mrs. Sams was preceded in death by her parents, Fontunato and Ginetta Boutticelli Agostini, her husband Leon D. Sams, sisters; Jeanine, Josie, Emma, and Maria.

Mrs. Sams is survived by her sister Angele' Zurawski of France, brother and sister-in-law Robert and Mimi Agostini of Belgium, one son and daughter-in-law Michael and Donna Sams of Ashdown, AR, one daughter Debbie Sams of Bossier City, LA. Three grandchildren; Matthew Sams of Bossier City, LA, Justin and Carley Sams of Franklin, KY, two step grandchildren Jake and Amberlee Chauncy of Ashdown, AR, her loving companion, Donald Bowers, and a host of relatives both in the US and abroad.

Pallbearers will be Chuck Davis, John Castori, Terry Banta, John Cunningham, Lee Cramer, Bob Buuck and Joe Agostini.

Honorary pallbearer will be Thomas Wilson.
