Ella Pemeroy was born January 1, 1911 at Rib Lake WI to Edward and Emma Martin Stelling. She spent her early years and received her education at Terry, where she met and married Harold L Pomeroy.
In 1938, she and her husband moved to Sunnyside. He passed away December 24, 1955. Following Mr Pomeroy's death, she moved to Edmonds WA and for the past 18 yeas, made her home in Yakima, where she managed her grandson's apartments.
Mrs Pomeroy, age 83, died October 2, 1994 at Renaissance Care Center in Yakima. Interment was at the Lower Valley Memorial Gardens. She was preceded in death by her husband, a daughter, Eileen Rae in 1993, and a brother, Eddie Stelling.
Survivors are a daughter, Dolores Todd of Seattle WA, a son Don (Lorene) Pomeroy of Yakima WA, 10 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren, two sisters, Ethyl Gibson of Sunnyside and Edna Buteyn of Sheboygan WI; and one brother, Earl Stelling of Sunnyside WA.
