Kermit S. Saylor, 64, entered into rest Monday, October 25, 2004, at 11:01 p.m., at his residence after a lengthy illness. Born December 9, 1939, in York County, he was the son of the late Howard H. and Helen K. (Hershey) Saylor. Mr. Saylor was a construction worker for six years with the former R.S. Noonan Construction Company and an iron pourer for eight and a half years with Donsco Inc., Wrightsville He is survived by four daughters, Teresa L. Tyson of Red Lion, Tina M. Herbin of Fla., Candy Kasten of Seven Valleys and Cathy Pollard of Red Lion; four sons, Bradley J. Saylor of Windsor, Randy H. Saylor of Wrightsville, Rodney S. Saylor of Brogue and Roy Heidelbaugh of Red Lion; 22 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; six sisters, Kathryn Grove of Lewisberry Bernice Markel of Windsor, Lucrettia Markle of York, Alma Hemphill of Brogue, Diana Watson of Md. and Cindy Klopp of Red Lion; and three brothers, Nelson Saylor of Tenn., Palmer Saylor of York and Dean Saylor of Dover. Viewings will be 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and 9 to 10 a.m. Friday at Burg Funeral Home, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion. A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Chaplain Betty Fundalewicz with Compassionate Care Hospice will officiate. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.
