Johnnie Sinclair, 90, of Hermitage died Friday December 22, 2007, at Wagnon Place Nursing Home. Born July 10, 1916 in Hilo, a son of the late Raymond Franklin Sinclair and Samantha McNabb Sinclair, he was a retired farmer and forester, a Methodist, World War II Army veteran who served in Germany and was the widower of Mable Dean Sinclair who died December 10, 2002. They had married October 12, 1940.

Survivors are three sons, Ronnie Sinclair and spouse Cherry of Hamburg, Danny Sinclair and spouse Linda of Monticello, and Wayne Sinclair and spouse Betty of Hermitage; one sister, Annette Blankinship of Crossett; six grandchildren, Tracie Layton of Marshall, Stacey Sinclair of Bastrop, LA, Julie Braswell of Crossett, Kasey Lynn McDonald of Blanchard, OK, Johnny Dean Sinclair and Laura Lea Sanders both of New Edinburg; and ten great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were 3:30 p.m. Sunday, December 24, at Frazer's Funeral Home chapel in Warren with Rev. Mike Griffith officiating. Janice Sullivan was organist. Burial with flag presentation was in Hilo Cemetery by Frazer's Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Daniel Orton, Donald Orton, John Lansdale, James E. Smith, Eric Ledbetter, Dale Ledbetter, Steve Brantley and Jeff Brantley. Honorary pallbearer was Doyle Gates.
