COLPIEN, CAROL Passed away on Thursday October 5, 2006 in Ben Lomond, CA. She is survived by three grandchildren, Timothy Reilley and Kelli Reilley both of Ben Lomond and Richard Reilley of San Leandro, CA. A niece, Shirley Eppel of New Jersey and numerous grand-nieces and grand-nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond who passed away in 1998 and daughter, Sherry Reilley who passed away in 2004. Carol was born in Piedmont, CA and graduated from Piedmont High School in 1931. She worked as an insurance broker in Oakland for 10 years. Also worked as a decorator with her husband Raymond. Carol was a 30 year resident of Ben Lomond, CA. She was a member of the Children's Hospital Foundation in Oakland, a member of the Lucille Packard Children's Hospital Foundation in Palo Alto, CA and a Grey Lady. During WWII Carol was a Pink Lady at Stanford Hospital. She loved gardening, cooking, music and reading. Services are planned for 1:30 p.m., Monday October 9, 2006 at Mt. View Cemetery, 5000 Piedmont Ave., Oakland, CA. Contributions are preferred to Hospice Caring Project, 940 Disc Dr., Scotts Valley, CA. (831) 430-3000.
