OBITUARIES
Grace M. Harris
Graveside rites for Mrs. Grace M. Harris, 68, were conducted at Conrad Memorial Cemetery Thursday afternoon by the Rev. F. B. Hillis. Those acting as pallbearers included Fred and William Sprouls, Wallace Bergeman, Ralph Thayer, Glen Hartman and John Graham, Sr. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Johnson Funeral Home.
Grace M. McCarthy was born in Demersville March 23, 1890, a daughter of John E. and Margaret Lang McCarthy. She grew to womanhood here and on January 23, 1923, she was married to Amos N. Harris at Riverton, Wyo. They returned to Kalispell in 1933. Mr. Harris died in Kalispell March 11, 1955. She is survived by one son, Daniel, in Seattle, Wash.; a brother, Dan, at Star Meadows; an aunt, Mrs. Jessie Sinclair in Kalispell, and four grandchildren.
She is also survived by three nephews, Delbert Lang, Marion; John Lang, Portland, Ore.; and Manley McCormick, Kalispell. Mrs. Harris lived at 230 Second St. East and died in a Kalispell hosptial Oct. 13.
