AMOS HARRIS DIES AT AGE 64
Amos N. Harris, 64, of 230 Second St. East, died in a Kalispell hospital Friday afternoon.
Mr. Harris was born in Findlay, Ohio, on April 25, 1890. He received his education in Ohio and as a young man worked for Ohio Oil Co. as a field man. He was sent to Riverton, Wyo., by the company and on Jan. 3, 1923, he married Grace McCarthy in Riverton.
The couple lived in Riverton until 1933, when they came to Kalispell. He was a building contractor here until his retirement.
Mr. Harris was a veteran of World War I. He is survived by his wife, Grace, in Kalispell; one son, Daniel S. Harris, Seattle; and a brother, Edward, of Overton, Texas.
The body is at Johnson Funeral Home. Private funeral services will be conducted in Conrad Memorial Cemetery and burial will be there. Friends have been requested to omit flowers.
