Andy Furci was a race driver from Brooklyn, New York who will be best remembered for his career in midgets that started in the 1940's and lasted into the 1970s. Andy was the 1947 ARA Midget Track Record Holder at the Freeport (NY) Speedway. He also raced at other tracks having much success during the winter months racing midgets on the dirt tracks of Florida.

Andy Furci was twice entered in the Indianapolis 500. In 1957 he passed his rookie test in the #58 Ray Brady Special, practiced but did not qualify. In 1959 he practiced in the #91 Binter Special and again did not qualify. It should be noted that his performances at Indianapolis do not over shadow the fact that he was an excellent midget driver.
