DiCola, Elizabeth "Betty" (Garay) - passed away peacefully January 3rd, 2017. Born April 26, 1934 to Stephen and Elizabeth Garay, she was the 4th of 12 children. She grew up in Bridgeton PA, and attended Mother of Sorrows church and school. She met James DiCola and the two were married soon after. They were married 63 years until his passing in 2014. They had three children James, Janet, and Nancy. Betty was a homemaker most of her life, she enjoyed shopping, fishing and family gatherings. Butterflies were her passion, earning her the nickname " Betty Butterfly". If you saw Betty, you saw butterflies. She is survived by her children James DiCola, Janet and David Williams, and Nancy and Paul Giles; her granddaughter Dana Williams; and great granddaughter Jayla Williams. She is also survived by her siblings Margaret Onoszko, Joan Pierce, Irene Sinnott, Theresa Julian, Madeline Sowers, and Andrew Garay; and many nieces and nephews. Viewing will be on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at the Parish of St. John Neumann at St. John of God Church, 680 Town Bank Road, North Cape May, where the Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Cold Spring.
