Largo, FL--Clairina M. (Jandreau) Forcier, 71, died Tuesday, Aug. 22 2000, at a Largo, FL hospice home. She was born in St. Francis, Jan. 17, 1929, the daughter of Antoine and Edith Jandreau.
Mrs. Forcier was a devoted wife to Henry E. Forcier for 52 years and mother to three children. She was predeceased by one son, Paul Forcier and one brother Lionel Jandreau. In addition to her husband, Henry Forcier of Largo, she is survived by a daughter, Theresa Forcier of Wier, N.H., a son, Robert H. Forcier of Largo. She is also survived by four brothers, Renee Jandreau of Bridgeport, CN., Camille, Lucien and Valier Jandreau of St. Francis, four sisters, Martha O'Conner of Nakrest, FL., Rolande Lynch of Fort Fairfield, Anita Lausier of Madawaska and Carmeline Dickinson of Mapleton, a granddaughter, Heather Forcier and a grandson, Brian Forcier of Largo.
Clairina and Henry raised their family in Milford, CN, before moving to Largo to retire. although 85% blind, she enjoyed playing cards and bingo with family and friends. She was a great cook and also loved to entertain. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
She will be remembered at Mass, Sunday, Sept. 3 at 9 a.m. at St. Charles Parish in St. Francis, with the Rev. Michael Doucette presiding . Internment will be in Milford, Conn. at a later date.
