Funeral services were held here Friday afternoon for Mrs. Julia Lang, 70, former resident of this community who died Wednesday at the home of a daughter in West Bend. The funeral was held in the Eberhardt Funeral chapel and was conducted by the Rev. G. E. Zellmer, pastor of Salem Evangelical church. Burial was made in Graceland Cemetery.
The deceased was born in Germany, Dec. 29, 1860. She was a resident of the town of Matteson for about 27 years. Her husband died a number of years ago and since that time she has lived with her children. She had been in ill health for the past four years.
The following survive, Reinhold of Wauseca; Mrs. Fred Kobs of West Bend; Mrs. John Euhardy of Clintonville; Robert of Manitowoc; Mrs. J. Hackman of Minneapolis, Minn.; Mrs. Herbert Laux of Appleton; Mrs. Martin Vandehy of Kimberly; Donald of Hilbert; Mrs. John Knipp of Clareton, Wyoming, and Mrs. R. Lambert of Manitowoc. Twenty-four grandchildren and two great grandchildren also survive.
