Aleta Gage Bordwell, 98, died Friday afternoon at the Homestead at Soldiers and Sailors Hospital.
Aleta was born March 7, 1919 in Gorham to Orrin and Gladys Gage. She graduated two years early from Gorham Country School. She married Bruce Bordwell on March 19th 1939. He passed away June of 1992. Together they made their home on the family farm in Potter. She helped operate the farm and raised her family.
She is survived by five grandchildren, Ernest Bordwell, Bruce(Jennifer) Bordwell, Scott(Melissa) Bordwell, Amber Bordwell and Tina(Chris) Winnett. She has 9 great grandchildren and 1 great- great grandchild. She is also survived by a sister Barbara Gage and a daughter in law Barbara Bordwell.
She is predeceased by her husband, a son Henry, brothers Don, Wick, Gib, and a great grandson Caleb Bordwell.
