8/16/2020 Suggested edit: The funeral for Eric Eugene "Gene" Hogan, 67, who died at his home in Columbus, Thursday, December 20, 1990, was held at Stiffer-Hamby Mortuary in Columbus. Interment was in Parkhill Cemetery.

Mr. Hogan was born December 20, 1923 in the Hogansville community of Tift County, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. David H. Hogan. He lived in Columbus 42 years and retired as president and co-owner of Hogan-Lott Supply Company. A graduate of The University of Georgia, he was a member of First Ba[tist Church, the Bloodworth-Eubanks Sunday School Class, Kappa Alpha fraternity, the Country Club of Columbus, and the Georgia-Alabama Seniors Golf Association.

Survivors include his wife, Lenora; two sons: David H. Hogan of Augusta and Eric E. Hogan, Jr., Tybee Island; two brothers:John and E, J. Hogan, both of Lancaster, Pa; and five sisters, Louise
Hiers of Walterboro, S. C.; Frances Aultman and Rebecca Baltes, both of Ocilla; Virginia Sedlick
and Betty Matthews both of Tifton; Three grandchildren also survive.
