Morton was born July 12, 1918 in Philadelphia, Pa., and had been a resident of Vero Beach since 1983, coming from Cherry Hill, N.J.
Prior to retirement, she worked as a graphic artist for Sunoco.
She was an active member of Community Church and was the former treasurer of Christian Women's Club in Vero Beach.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Edmund J. Morton and brother, H. Edward Boyd.
Survivors include her brother, Elmer Boyd of Tacoma, Wash.; step-daughters, Marilyn Belmont of Voorhees, N.J., Nancy Pritts of Cherry Hill, N.J. and Judy Carr of West Berlin, N.J.; and numerous step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
A private memorial service will be celebrated at the Memorial Garden at the Community Church in Vero Beach at a later date.
Arrangements are under the direction of Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematory, Vero Beach, Florida.
