Edward LeBron Bass, Jr. “Ed”, 76, of Chattanooga, passed away on Thursday, March 23, 2017, at his residence.
He was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga and North Georgia area. He was a United States Navy veteran. Ed owned and operated American Antique Reproductions in Chattanooga. With his job, Ed traveled extensively around the world. Ed was also an auctioneer in the Chattanooga area. His passions in life were his wife, horses, animals, traveling, and antiques.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward LeBron Bass, Sr. and Edith Bell Bass; and brother, Ernest Bass.
Survivors include his wife of over 30 years, Betty Bass; children, Kathy Stewart, Patty Fuzzell, and Allison Bass Schmit, all of Chattanooga; sister, Eva LaShawn Bass Mozingo; brother, Everette Lamar Bass; grandson, Brandon Stewart and two others; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Private services will be held at a later date with his final resting place being at the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
Arrangements are by the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, Rossville.
