Graveside services for Marie Watkins Brown, 90, of Vidalia, LA who passed on to her Heavenly life on Sunday, March 26, 2017 at Heritage Manor Nursing Home, will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor John Collard officiating.
Burial will follow at the cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. Tuesday at Laird Funeral Home.
Mrs. Brown was born, February 15, 1927 in Winnsboro, LA, the daughter of Henry and Bertha Watkins.
Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her husband, Henry C. Brown, Sr. and her youngest son, Kenneth L. Brown.
Survivors include three daughters: Myrtis Marie Brown Dantzler and her husband, Jerry, of Ferriday Elizabeth Brown Hughes of Vidalia, and Junice Diann Brown Burgess and her husband, Doss, of North Little Rock, AR; one son: Henry Callie Brown, Jr. of Vidalia; twelve grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and one great great-grandson; one sister: Leda Moore of Natchez; and a host of other relative and friends.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Dantzler, Doss Burgess, Jay Dantzler, Kevin Coley and Chris Huff.
