Mrs. Frances Bates Hudson, 75, passed away Thursday March 30, 2017 at North Florida Regional Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Arthur E. and Ruth Blankenship Bates, Sr. she had made Lake City her home for the past forty-four years after moving here from Bessemer, Alabama she was a member of First Full Gospel Church and enjoyed painting, art work, she enjoyed traveling, but most of all she enjoyed being with her family.
She is survived by her husband of fifty eight years Jack Hudson, Lake City, FL; three sons Keith Hudson (Candice) Lake City, FL; Douglas A. Hudson, Albany, GA. and R. Eric Hudson (Theresa) Lake City, FL; one brother Arthur E. Bates, Jr. (Debbie) Bessemer, AL; two sisters Bonnie Bates, Lakeland, FL; and Juaniece Eiland (William) Hueytown, AL; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren and three nieces and three nephews also survive.
Funeral services for Mrs. Hudson will be conducted at First Full Gospel Church Monday April 3, 2017 at 3:30 P.M. with Reverend Stan Ellis officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Lake City, FL; DEES-PARRISH FAMILY FUNERAL HOME is in charge of all arrangements 458 South Marion Avenue Lake City, FL. 32025.
