Wayne Randolph, 73 of Grand Island passed away March 30, 2017 at CHI St. Francis in Grand Island. Funeral Services will be Monday April 3, 2017 at 10:30 AM at Apfel Funeral Home in Grand Island with Rev. Kelly Karges officiating. Interment will be at Elwood Cemetery in St. Paul. Apfel Funeral Home is serving the family.


Harold “Wayne” Randolph was born January 2, 1944 to Harold T. and Eva (Duester) Randolph at Lubbock, TX. He grew up in many states while his father was in the Air Force. He received his education at Sam Houston in Amarillo, TX. Wayne also lived in Grand Island where he was employed by Hinky Dinky and Jack and Jill; he also cleaned for Jim Truell and took care of his mother. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.


Wayne is survived by his sisters, Cheryl (Scott) Grudzinski; Joyce Bissett and the late Donald Bissett; Debi (Bob) Smith; and Bev (Don) Brewer; brothers, Darrell (Erika) Randoph; and Don (Jill) Randolph as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, Frank and Martha Duester and Mertle and Samual Randolph.
