Arthur Biggert Dies Tuesday
William Arthur Biggertm 420 North Rock Islandm died Tuesday at Park View hospital after a long illness.

Mr. Biggert was born in El Reno, Jan. 9, 1895.

He was an organizer and charter member of American Legion post 34 in El Reno and also a past commander. Mr. Biggert was also a member of the Brotherhood of Railway Carmen, AM and FM lodge of El Reno and Knights Templar as well as vice president and director of El Reno Rock Island credit union and a member of Wesley Methodist church.

Survivors include his wife, Lenora of the home, a daughter, Mrs. Carl Smith of Tulsa, s sister-in-law, Mrs J. E. Biggert, two nephews, W. E. and Robert E. Biggert, all of El Reno, two nieces, Mrs. Richard Hume of Albuquerque, N. M., and Miss Katherine Hovenden of El Reno, and his mother-in-law, Mrs. Belle Harper, also of El Reno.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Benson Mememorial chapel with the Rev. Grady Ross of the Wesley Methodist church, officiating. Masonic Blue lodge will also hold services at the chapel with burial in El Reno cemetery and graveside rites by the American Legion.

As a tribute to a charter member, El Reno Legion members attending services will wear their Legion hats.
