Rev. John Edwin Williams was the son of Rev. Dr. John A. and Catherine (Sutherland) Williams. He was the husband of Eliza (Stoddard) Williams. They were married October 1873. Eliza died March 19, 1922. Rev. Williams was a minister in the Methodist Episcopal Church: Central New York Conference 1869 F 1874 East Genesee Conference at reorganization Genesee (Western New York/now Upper New York) Conference by consolidation 1876.
