Sandra Kay Wernette, 62, died Wednesday, Feb 28, 2007, in Hot Springs, Ark. She was born May 23, 1944, in Reed City to Russell and Alma (Mayfield) Henthorne. She attended Barryton School and graduated with the class of 1962.
On Aug. 3, 1963, she married Phillip Wernette who survives. Along with her husband, she is survived by her son, Kyle (Maliah) Wernette of Hot Springs, Ark: two grandsons, Jake and Max and one granddaughter, Kilch; he mother, Alma of Star City, Ark:, brother-in-law, Alden (Kathy) Wernette of Sheridan; two sisters-in-law, Delorous Swainston of Sheridan and Beverly (Frank) Markevich of Midland and several nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Shelly, her father Russell Henthorne and her brother Jimmy Dale "Dick" Henthorne.
Memorial services are scheduled for Monday, March 5, at the Caruth-Hale Funeral Home, 155 Section Line Road, Hot Springs, AR 71913.
