Shirley Ardene Henthorne Edmonds, 81 of Star City, died Thursday at Gardner Nursing Center in Star City. She was born July 31, 1935 in Midland County, MI to the late William Russell and Alma (Ding) Marie Mayfield Henthorne. She was a homemaker.
Also preceding her in death were a daughter, Christi Marie Edmonds Rojas; son, Jeffery Allen Edmonds; brother, Jim Henthorne and sister, Sandra Wernett.
Survivors include her husband, Charles Ray Edmonds of Star City; 2 sons, Chuck Edmonds of Glendale and Rusty (Pearl) Edmonds of Hot Springs; 2 daughters, Cathy Edmonds and Kim (Joe) Hall, both of Star City; 7 grandchildren, Katie Jo (Ray) Taylor, Taylor Hall, Laura (Zach) Robertson, Codi (Shea) Simmons, DesaRay Rojas, Amanda Robertson and Zack (Mandi) Robertson; and 3 great-grandchildren, Daxton Robertson, Gracie Robertson and Hunter Robertson.
Graveside services are 2:00PM Monday, June 5, 2017 at Butler/Pleasant Hill Cemetery with Bro. Elmer Byerly officiating. Visitation is 6:00-8:00PM Sunday at Griffin Funeral Service.
