Funeral services for the late Solomen Respress, 1108 Beech St., will be held in the Union Baptist Church, Grant street, Thursday at 1 p.m. with Rev. E. l. Strickland, Rev. C. L. Alexander and Rev. Cornelius Moore officiating. Interment will be in Greenwood cemetery.


Friends may call at the Crunkleton Funeral Home, Grant Street, Wednesday 7-9 p.m.


Mr. Repress died at 6:10 a.m. Sunday in his home after a long illness.


Born in Roberta, Georgia, he was a son of the late Thomas and Jennie Repress. He was employed at the Johnson Bronze Company and was a member of the Church of God in Christ.


In addition to his wife, Lula Repress, he leaves three children: Mrs. Wilber (Mary) Young; Mrs. Hattie Spencer and Thomas Respress, all of new Castle; one step son, Curtis Bell of Cleveland; seventeen grandchildren; two brothers, William Respress of New Castle and Milton Respress of Pansey, Ala.
