Of Elizabeth Brown's parents, only her father is known. His name was Edward Brown. Her mother is unknown. She was born in England in 1590, in Sidlesham, Sussex. Elizabeth married John Randall before 1628, possibly in Bath, Somerset County. Elizabeth and John had at least two children in England before 1640, which is when John and Elizabeth brought their family to New England and settled in Watertown, Massachusetts. John died in Watertown in 1653. Elizabeth continued to live in Watertown, and was known as "Widow Randall". Elizabeth died in Watertown on December 24, 1672 at the age of 80 or so. Both Elizabeth and John are buried in the Old Burial Place in Watertown.
