Wallace W Fischer, 48, of Rt 1, Manitowoc, died Thursday morning at the family residence.

Funeral services will be at 2pm Monday at Bethany Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. The Rev Larry Ellenberger will officiate with burial in Knollwood Memorial Gardens, Town of Kossuth.

Mr Fischer was born May 9, 1928, in the Town of Rockland, son of Reinhardt Fischer and the late Elda Behnke Fischer. He attended schools at Manitowoc Rapids. He married Evelyn Krueger Aug 27, 1949, at St Peter Lutheran Church, Collins. Mr Fischer was a farmer and member of Manitowoc County Farm Bureau and Manitowoc County Holstein Breeders Assn.

Survivors include his wife, a daughter, Kathleen, at home; his father, Reinhardt, of Rt 1 Manitowoc; two brothers, LeRoy, of Rt 4, Manitowoc, and Eugene of Rt 1, Manitowoc; and two sisters, Mrs Kermit (Dorrine) Hackmann and Mrs Jerome (Ardella) Gaedtke, of Rt 1, Manitowoc. His mother and brother preceded him in death.
