Adolph Bauer, 80, of Saginaw and formerly of Reese, died, early Monday morning, April 6, 2015 at Healthsource of Saginaw.

He was born on March 2, 1935 in Saginaw, son of the late Oscar and Elsie (Bierlein) Bauer. Adolph farmed with his dad in the Reese area until his retirement. His true enjoyments were, talking about the past, people watching and was always very content with his life.

Surviving are his brother, Larry (Sheila) Bauer of Hemlock; sister, Hilda (Walt) Zajac of Kingston and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, sisters Jeannette Bauer and Rosemary (Robert) Solgat all preceded him in death.

Funeral services will take place at 11:00 a.m., Friday, April 10, 2015 from St. Michael’s Lutheran Church in Richville. Rev. Rob Gadeken will officiate with burial in the church cemetery. Adolph’s family will receive friends at the Ware-Smith-Woolever Funeral Home, 9940 Saginaw Street, Reese on Thursday from 4-8 p.m. and at the church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
