John HENDRICKS
HENDRICKS--July 26, 1886, at the residence of O. H.(Oliver House) Hendricks, near Voltaire, John Hendricks, of Typhoid Fever, in his 26th year.

John was born in Davies county M., and spent the greater part of his life there. Early last spring he came to Voltaire to make a home in the great west. A friendly generous disposition soon won him many friends who now deeply mourn his death. Close attention to business and exposure undermined his health and disease took a fast hold on him six weeks ago. His last days were soothed by father, mother, sisters and brothers, who did all possible for his recovery and comfort, and surrounded his bed when the messenger came. The body was taken to his old home for burial.
