Post Office Clerks Act As Pallbearers At Funeral
Funeral services were held yesterday from Lee's Chapel for Theophilus F Shryock for more than thirty years an employee of the Post Office Department who died Thursday at his home in Hyattsville Maryland. Rev Hugh Stevenson pastor of Bethany Baptist Church officiated. Burial was made in Rock Creek Cemetery.
Mr Shryock was born in Rochester Indiana in 1858 is survived by his wife, his mother and two sisters, Mrs A B Briggs and Mrs A Benson Searle. Fellow clerks of Mr Shryock in the Post Office Department acted as Pallbearers at the funeral."
