Beulah was born Nov. 12, 1926 in Ransom, IL, to the late John and Emma Appel. She graduated from Cornell High School in Cornell, IL in 1945. Beulah was a homemaker, in home home caregiver, and had also worked in direct sales for Golden Pride-Rawleigh products. Beulah volunteered for many good causes, including the DAV. She was a part of the Stephen Ministries and at the age of 72 was a missionary in India. Beulah was a member of the Antique Car Club, Model A Club, and Model T Club. She had attended the Linden Lane Church of God, North Anderson Church of God, and the Madison Park Church of God.
Beulah is survived by her loving husband of 69 and a half years, William E. McCully; five children, Dixie McCready (husband-Bill), Donald McCully, Darrell McCully (wife-Jamie May), Denise Dudley, and Darren McCully; 10 grandchildren, Stephanie Smith (husband-Mike), Mike (wife-Melissa), Lyndsay, Patrick (wife-Michele), Ryan, and Ava Rose McCully, Bryson (wife-Leigh), and Colin (wife-Lacey) Dudley, and Ryan and Bill McCready; 12 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Beulah was preceded in death by two brothers, Laverne and Robert Appel; and a daughter-in-law, Jill McCully.
A funeral service to celebrate Beulah's life will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Gant Funeral Homes, Yorktown Chapel, 2215 S. Broadway St. in Yorktown. Pastor Ron Halbert will officiate. Burial will follow in Hawk Cemetery. Friends and family may gather to share and remember from 5-8 p.m. Monday and also one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at Gant Funeral Homes, Yorktown Chapel. Memorial contributions may be given to the Alzheimer's Association, 50 E. 91st St., Suite 100, Indianapolis, IN 46240.
