June Madsen Montenegro June 6, 1963 - Feb. 23, 2012 Resident of Hayward June passed away tragically on February 23, 2012 in an automobile accident. June lived in Hayward most of her life and also spent time in Idaho. She attended St. Clements Catholic School and Tennyson High School. June, also known as "June Bug" will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She will be remembered for her vibrant spirit, generous soul "heart of gold" and how she fully embraced life during all the peaks and valleys in her life. She found happiness in the smallest things that most people take for granted. Her smile was as big as her unforgettable dimples. June was planning a future move to Idaho to be with her family. She loved to spend her time watching movies and TV series. June is survived by her parents Gary and Darlene Madsen; sons Tony Gomez and PJ Montenegro; daughters Melissa Gomez and Angel Montenegro; brother Chris Madsen and sister-in-law Dennene Madsen; nieces Samantha and Haley Madsen and many cousins. She is also survived by her 9 grandchildren who called her "Nana". She was preceded in death by her loving grandparents Manuel and Fanny Travers and her Aunt/Godmother Marlene Meeks. She is also adored and will be deeply missed by her many friends and extended family. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Rosary 6:30 pm Friday, March 2, 2012. Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 Noon, March 3, 2012 at Holy Angels Funeral Center, 1051 Harder Road, Hayward, CA.
