Edith Richardson Maness, age 87, of 426 Foster St., Asheboro died Monday, March 14, 2005 at her home.Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 17, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Ingersoll and Rev. Bobby Freeman officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery.Mrs. Maness was a native of Randolph County and retired hosiery mill employee. She attended Foster Street Wesleyan Church and was preceded in death by her husband E. David Maness.She is survived by daughter, Peggy Ashley of Asheboro; daughter and her husband, Phyllis and Jim Busick of Winston Salem; son and his wife, Ronald D. and Pam Maness of Asheboro; granddaughter and her husband, Deanna Busick and Josh Pihl of Madison, WI; grandson, Jon Busick of Houston, TX; grandson and his wife, Bryan and Kristen Maness of Raleigh; granddaughter, Courtney Maness of Asheboro; half brothers, Ervin Richardson, Roger Richardson, Winfred Richardson; half sisters, Yvonne Hurley and Bertie Strider all of Asheboro.The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 16, 2005 from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Pugh Funeral Home, Asheboro, NC.Memorials may be made to Charity of donors choice.
