Mr. Joseph McCoy, an early resident of Dakota County, died at his home in Ravenna last Wednesday night, after a protracted illness, at the advanced age of eighty-seven years. He leaves a wife, two sons, two daughters, Fred and William, Mrs. Frank Sherry, of Ravenna, and Mrs. Louise Gunter, of Hastings. There are sixteen grandchildren, a great grandson, and a great grand daughter. The funeral will be held from the Church of the Guardian Angels today at nine a.m., the Rev. P.R. Cunningham officiating. Interment at the church cemetery.
