Baker Ewing was born in 1750 in Bedford, Virginia. He is the son of Robert and Mary Baker Ewing. He married Letitia Sorrell Warren on November 24, 1784, in Virginia. 1786-1790 He was a member of the Danville Political Club. Formerly in Mercer County, Kentucky, Danville fell into Boyle County, Kentucky, when Boyle County was formed in 1842.He was appointed by Gov. On 26 Jun 1792 - 1798 in Frankfort, Frankfort, Kentucky, USA Isaac Shelby as the first Register of the State Land Office, and served until 1798.In 1802 He was elected to represent Franklin County in the Kentucky House of Representatives. He died in Franklin, Kentucky.
