Martha Dawn Burdette, 81, of Thomasville, passed away on November, 25, 2018 at her residence.
Funeral Services will be held at Whiddon Shiver Funeral Home on Sunday, December 2, 2018 at 2:00pm with Pastor Ricky Whitley officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral from 1:00pm - 2:00pm.
Mrs. Burdette was born on February 18, 1937 in Bostwick, GA to the late George & Connie Adams. She married Ralph Samuel Burdette in 1956 who preceded her in death in 1991.
Mrs. Burdette was a self-employed bookkeeper and was a member of Pineland Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son Louis Samuel Burdette of Thomasville, son-in-law, General McArthur Barfield of Cairo, GA, grandchildren, Jesse Barfield of Cairo, GA, Joshua (Hank) Barfield of Cairo, GA and a brother, Raymond Adams of California.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Teresa Dawn Barfield and 9 brothers.
