Richard Paskel (Dick) Leverett. Son of of Wiley Leverett and Mary Elizabeth Crowder. He was born on the plantation (Pine Retreat) of Hugh Lawson in south Houston County, Georgia. He was the youngest of the children of his mother and after her death raised by his aunt/stepmother Ursula Caroline Crowder. In the 1880 census, he is living with his brother's family and helping him farm. Please note that the original marker has his death year as 1883.
