Bates, her husband, Jessie L., Henry, and George Baker.
Jul 2002: It was an exciting moment when we located Abijah's grave at the Walnut Lake Cemetery in Walnut Lake Twp. of Faribault Co. He died 18 Apr, 1878 at 45 years, 1 month of age. His grave has a verteran marker showing "MN 61-65". Marker on the grave next to him said "GAR 165". Faribault Co. records, book A, page 35, line 5, shows cause of death as lung inflammation; that he was born in NY to Isaac and Abigail Baker, and his date of arrival in MN was 1 Jun 1855.
