Shirley Jean Laden, the daughter of the late Alfred Elmer Wilburn and Valrie Carter Wilburn, was born Friday, November 19, 1938 in Portageville, Missouri.
On April 5, 1982 at Calvary Baptist Church in Kennett, Missouri she was united in marriage to Clarence Edward Laden who preceded her in death on April 21, 2014.
Ms. Laden died Friday, May 26, 2017 at NHC Healthcare in Kennett, Missouri at the age of 78 years, 6 months and 7 days.
She is survived by 2 sons Ronnie Bailey and wife Samatha of Campbell, Missouri and Mark Bailey of Kennett, 1 daughter Vicki Lee Files Jernigan and husband Adam of Center, Texas, 3 brothers Hubert Wilburn and wife Kathy of Austin, Texas, Phillip Wilburn and wife Beverly of Kennett and Gary Wilburn of Wappapello, Missouri, 1 sister; Jossie Ryans of Pass cola, Missouri, 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by 2 brothers Alfred Dale Wilburn and Joseph Glen Wilburn and 4 sisters; Modest Marie Bogart, Flossie Wilburn, Connie Simms and Linda Wilburn.
Visitation will be Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at Bradshaw Funeral Home in Kennett with Funeral Services following at 1:00 P.M. in the Chapel with Reverend Marston Carpenter officiating. Burial will be at Stanfield Cemetery in Clarkton, Missouri.
