Freida Enderud, 83 of Ponca City, Oklahoma departed this life on May 30, 2017 under the care of her loving family at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas.
Graveside Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Monday, June 5, 2017 at the Parker Cemetery in Arkansas City, Kansas. Visitation will be Sunday, June 4, 2017 from 1:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. with the family receiving friends from 4:00 until 6:00 P.M. at the Shelley Family Funeral Home in Arkansas City, Kansas. Freida was born July 17, 1933, in Oxford, KS. She attended South Haven High School. She was united in marriage to the love of her life Lloyd Enderud on July 6, 1950 in Newkirk, OK. The couple was united in marriage for nearly 67 years. Freida was a homemaker who enjoyed studying genealogy and loved to dance.
Surviving to honor her memory is her husband Lloyd Enderud of the home, three sons; Chuck Enderud and his wife Tamara of Newkirk, OK, Ron Enderud of Kaw City, OK and Dale Enderud and wife Linda of Arkansas City, KS, nine grandchildren; Chris Enderud, Amy Jennings and husband Rodney, Heather Mayo and husband Joe, Eric Enderud and wife Mary, Tiffany Stone, Allison Nellis and husband Bret, Hannah Enderud, Sarah Loftus and husband Jake and Garrett Enderud: 14 great grandchildren and 1 great great-grandchild as well as many nieces and nephews.
