Lloyd Emery “Mo” Enderud, 87, of Ponca City, OK passed away on Monday, March 11, 2019 at his home.

Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday, March 18 at Parker Cemetery in Arkansas City. Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 17 from 4-6 P.M. at the Shelley Family Funeral Home of Arkansas City. Memorials in Lloyd’s name may be made to the McCord Senior Citizens Center of Ponca City, OK. Donations may be left in the care of the funeral home.

Lloyd was born on June 30, 1931 on a farm near Jewel, KS to proud parents Junia (McCants) and Christian Oluf Enderud. Lloyd was married to the love of his life Freida Irene on July 6, 1950 in Newkirk, OK. Lloyd worked for over 30 year at a packing house and later for USD 470 in maintenance. While working for the school district he was able to employ some of passions, one of his woodworking projects was making the trophy cases for the Arkansas City High School. Lloyd enjoyed making metal flowers, birdhouses, and doing all kinds of different home remodel projects, he also worked for Benson Lumber doing installation. Lloyd loved singing and two-step dancing and always had on a nice pair of boots and a matching belt buckle. Lloyd cherished his family and was very proud of the children that he had raised.

Surviving to honor his memory are his three sons: Chuck Enderud and wife Tamara of Newkirk, OK; Ron Enderud of Kaw City, OK; Dale Enderud and wife Linda of Arkansas City, KS; nine grandchildren: Chris Enderud, Amy Jennings and husband Rodney, Heather Mayo and husband Joe, Eric Enderud and wife Mary, Tiffany Stone, Allison Nellis and husband Bret, Hannah Enderud and fiancé Josh Payton, Sarah Loftus and husband Jake and Garrett Enderud; fourteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild, as well as many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and wife, Freida.
