William Melvin Durbin, 35, of Prosperity R.D. 1, died at 5:45 a.m. Saturday, February 9, 1980, in his home.
He was born August 20, 1944, in Morris Township near Sycamore, a son of the late Charles Franklin and Goldie Pierson Durbin.
Mr. Durbin had spent the early part of his life in Greene County and for the last several years had resided in the Washington County community. For the past few years he had been employed at a dairy farm.
Surviving from a former marriage are one daughter, and three sons.
Also surviving are two sons, at home; two sisters, one half-sister, and seven brothers.
One daughter, Tammy, is deceased.
