Harold was a produce, dairy and egg farmer, and cattleman in Princeton, Texas In later years, before moving to California, he was a home builder in Grapevine and Cedar Hills. He had a good bass voice and sang in several gospel quartets, including one he organized and named The Carman Quartet. Harold moved to Lompoc, CA., in 1975 and was a memer of the Central Coast Missionary Baptist Church there.
