Deborah Nicole Betts

CRISFIELD — Deborah Nicole Betts, the 8-month-old daughter of Ramona Burke Betts and Hammond Betts Jr. of Crisfield, died Wednesday, June 13, 1990, in the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore of pneumonia. She was born in Salisbury.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by two brothers, Charles "Chucky" Betts and Hammond "Butchie" Betts III, both at home; her maternal grandparents, Elmira Burke Ford, Crisfield, and Richard Burke, Sr., Salisbury; her paternal grandmother, Kathryn Betts, Eden; and her maternal great-grandmother, Frances Goldsborough, Crisfield.

A funeral service will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Church of God here. The Rev. Donald DeFino will officiate. Interment will be in a private family cemetery near her parents home on Johnson Creek Road here. Friends may call at Bradshaw and Sons Funeral Home in Crisfield from 7 to 9 tonight and at the church on Saturday one hour prior to the service.
