JULIA MASON ATKINS, 87, of Memphis, died November 24, 2005 at Methodist Central Hospital. Visitation 4-8 p.m. Thursday, December 1, 2005, at R.S. Lewis & Sons Funeral Chapel. Wake 9 - 10 a.m. Friday at Pentecostal Temple C.O.G.I.C., 229 S. Danny Thomas. Homegoing service follows at 10 a.m. Burial at 1 p.m. in West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery. Mrs Atkins was the 7th child of the Founder of the C.O.G.I.C., the late Bishop Charles H. Mason. She was a member of Pentecostal Temple C.O.G.I.C. She is the widow of Dr. Leland Atkins. She leaves a sister, Ruth Mason (Robert) Lewis of Memphis; and a host of nieces, nephews, and many friends. R.S.
