Services for Mr. Alexander, who died Friday from injuries suffered in an automobile accident west of Lynn, will be Monday at Macer Funeral Home, New Castle.
Survivors include his widow, Jessie; one daughter, Betsy Stacy; two sons, Thomas and Philip' and three sisters, Mildred Frishe, Ruth Schmidt and Ethel Alexander.
Alexander was a member of the Crescent Lodge No. 33 of New Castle, F&AM No. 91 of New Castle, Scottish Rite Lodge of Indianapolis, Murat Temple Shrine of Indianapolis, Henry County Shrine Club and Independent Order of Red Men of New Albany.
He was a former insurance salesman for Western & Southern Life, Public Savings Life and Standard Life of Indiana. At the time of his death he was serving as president of the Indiana Pencil Co., Inc., in New Castle, which he organized in 1941.
