Louise Howard Ward age 85 of Brushy Fork Road, Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at the Salyersville Health Care Center in Salyersville, Kentucky. She was born December 14, 1931 in Magoffin County, Kentucky to the late Grover and Martha Adkins Howard. She was the wife of Raymond "Crow" Ward, who preceded her in death.
Survivors include one daughter, Ethel (Phillip) Williams of Salyersville, Kentucky, two sisters, Edith Howard of Ashland, Kentucky, and Roncie Collinsworth of Salyersville, Kentucky, three grandchildren, Rodney Ward, Helisha Tuerk, and Chad Williams, and four great grandchildren, Collin Tuerk, Raegan Ward, Cooper Tuerk, and Scarlett Ward.
In addition to her husband and parents, Louise is preceded in death by one son, Danny Ward, one brother, Beckham Howard, two half brothers, Dudley Howard and Raney Howard, five sisters, Zada Russell, Ethel Hensley, Flossie Howard, Gustie Helton, and Easter Arnett, and one great grandson, Mark Daniel Ward.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 am Saturday, July 1, 2017 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with John Blanton and John Howard officiating. Burial will follow in the Ward Cemetery at Brushy Fork, Kentucky. Friends may visit the funeral home after 6 pm Friday, June 30, 2017 and anytime Saturday prior to funeral services.
