The dance group Pan's People were known for wearing hot pants and similar attire and doing intricate and bold dance routines which earned them millions of fans.
The dance group were a very regular feature on Television throughout the late sixties up to..1976.
Ruth was a very talented dancer, able to learn the intricate dance routines quickly with the rest of the girls, having compelling dark good looks and a warm smile. Ruth was so easy for the camera operator to capture.
After leaving the dance group..Ruth worked as an Housing Officer for Hammersmith and Fulham Council. Staying with this organisation, until Ruth retired aged 60. Always of fashionably trendy appearance and well groomed, Ruth remained single throughout her life. Saying she always valued her freedom, but stated she was not very lucky in that department and never found that special someone to share her life with.
Ruth liked going to social events and partying always joining in, and not letting the side down...by having one drink too few.
Ruth remained friends and in contact with other members of Pan's People throughout her life.
Ruth will always be remembered for being a very talented Dancing Queen...who so easily danced her way into the hearts of millions.
