She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening.
She is survived by her two daughters, three sons, 22 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and four step-grandchildren; her brother, her sister, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, LeVerne Arnold Shelstad, whom she married Dec. 19, 1945, and who died Feb. 8, 2013; two daughters; one son; one granddaughter; three brothers; and four sisters.
Visitation at the Edward L. Raisley Funeral Home, 387 Main St., Prospect.
The funeral service will be held at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church, corner of Perry and Church streets, Prospect, with the Rev. Gary Brown, her church pastor, officiating. Please meet at church.
Interment with a graveside committal service will be at the Crown Hill Cemetery in Prospect.
