JACK L. ADAMS, 55, formerly of Beaver Creek Road, died Wednesday at the University of Maryland Hospital in Baltimore after a lengthy illness. Born in Pittsburgh, Pa., he was the son of Sallie Light Ardinger Adams of Hagerstown and the late Edward Lee Adams.

He was formerly employed by Mike Fuller's Machine Shop in Hagerstown.

Besides his mother he is survived by one son, Jack D. Adams, Hagerstown; one sister, Mrs. Jean E. Ambrose, Hagerstown; one brother, Charles A. Adams, Beaver Creek; and two granddaughters.

Graveside services were held at Riverview Cemetery. Arrangements were handled by the Osborne Funeral Home, Williamsport.

Mrs. SALLIE LIGHT ADAMS, 92, of Beaver Creek, died Thursday at the Washington County Hospital. Born in Berkeley County, WV, she was a daughter of Charles Andrew and Eliza Virginia Lemon Ardinger. She was the wife of the late Edward L. Adams. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Hagerstown. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Jean Elizabeth Ambrose, Hagerstown; son, Charles A. Adams, Beaver Creek; and four granchildren and seven great-grandechildren.

Services were held at the Osborne Funeral Home, Williamsport. nBurial was in Riverview Cemetery in Williamsport.
