Ione M. Larson, age 90, a Manitowoc resident, died Monday morning, July 10, 2017 at the Manitowoc Health & Rehabilitation Center, Manitowoc.
She was born on May 5, 1927 in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Harry and Clara Streich. Ione was a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School, Class of 1945. On September 19, 1947 she married Reuben Larson in Illinois. He preceded her in death on November 24, 1973.
Ione enjoyed politics, listening to the radio, the Green Bay Packers and the Milwaukee Brewers.
Survivors include one daughter: Jodi Larson, Manitowoc; two sons and one daughter-in-law: Jan & Lynn Larson, Winter Park, FL., Kim Larson, Manitowoc; four grandsons: Joshua Larson, Nathan Larson, Ryan Larson, Shaun Larson; ten great grandchildren; two brothers-in-law: Harold Valleskey and Harlan Larson; and a special niece: Jerilynn Koch. Other relatives and friends also survive. She was also preceded in death by a son: Randy Larson; and three sisters and a brother-in-law: Charlotte Valleskey, Jermaine (Jim Moldenhauer) Ashford and Marjorie Streich.
Cremation has occurred at All-Care Cremation Center, Manitowoc, and Ione will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
