RED WING -- The funeral for William C. "Bill" Bach will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel in Red Wing, with the Rev. Mike Hanson officiating. Burial will be in Bay City (Wis.) Cemetery.
Mr. Bach, 48, of Bay City, formerly of Red Wing, died Wednesday (Feb. 28, 2007) at his home.

William Clarence Bach was born July 16, 1958, in Red Wing, and attended schools in Ellsworth, Wis. He lived in River Falls, Wis., until moving to Bay City in August 2006. He worked for Wieser Concrete of Maiden Rock, Wis., for the past 18 years. A member of River Falls AA, he had been sober for 25 years. He was also a member of the "Counter Guys" who met every Saturday at Perkins in River Falls.

Survivors include his father, Melvin of Bay City; six sisters, Catherine (Roger) Thomas and Marlene (Bruce) Hanson, both of Frontenac, Rita (Jim) McCarthy of Hastings, Minn., Mary Jo (Gabe) Andrus of Stockholm, Wis., Margaret Bach of Plum City, Wis., and Tammy Hoyer of Bay City; and four brothers, Ronald (Eileen) of Red Wing, Robert (Beverly), Peter (Jeanie) of Bay City and Charles of Ellsworth. He was preceded in death by his mother and a brother.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, and an hour before the service Monday at the funeral home.
